domestic cleaning services

Are you tired of coming home after a long day at work to a messy and disorganised house? Do you find yourself constantly stressing over cleaning and maintaining your home? If so, it might be time to consider hiring a domestic cleaning company.

Not only can hiring a cleaning company save you time and energy, but it can also have a positive impact on your mental health and overall well-being.

Let's start with time-saving. Hiring a cleaning company means that you don't have to spend your evenings and weekends scrubbing floors, dusting shelves, and doing laundry. Instead, you can spend that time doing things you enjoy, such as spending time with your family, pursuing hobbies, or simply relaxing.

Furthermore, cleaning companies are professionals who are trained to efficiently and effectively clean your home. They have the right tools and equipment, as well as knowledge of the best cleaning products for different surfaces and materials. This means that they can get the job done faster and more thoroughly than you might be able to on your own.

But what about mental health? Studies have shown that a cluttered and messy environment can have a negative impact on our mental health. It can lead to increased stress, anxiety, and even depression. On the other hand, a clean and organised space can have a positive impact on our mood and overall well-being.

By hiring a cleaning company, you can take that burden off your shoulders and come home to a clean and peaceful environment. You can relax knowing that everything is taken care of, and you can focus on your own mental and emotional needs.

Furthermore, having a cleaning company regularly come to your home can help establish a routine and a sense of order in your life. It can help reduce feelings of overwhelm and chaos, and give you a sense of control over your environment.

In conclusion, hiring a domestic cleaning company can be a great investment in your time, energy, and mental health. Not only can it save you time and stress, but it can also contribute to a more peaceful and organised home environment. So why not give it a try and see how it can positively impact your life?

Social anxiety

social anxiety and mental health

My Inspiration from my 13 year old.

I wanted to write a quick little blog to say I actually managed to go out with my husband last night. Not such a big deal to most but to me it is.

I have suffered with going out socially for some time now. I am fine at work and speak to many new people daily in my job and love it.

But something about the pressure of getting dressed and meeting people out for drinks and or food has made me physically ill at times.

My husband is very sociable and has been so patient - New Year as an example I did manage to get dressed up to meet friends. I ended up being sick and ended up driving my husband to meet our friends and I stayed at home, feeling terrible.

This is just one of the many times I have bailed on a night out and let down friends and family.

My daughter was my inspiration on Saturday when her wonderful analogy she gave me.

She linked me going out to her being terrified to go on a scary BIG ride at the fair where we were recently. Although ( she said ) she was afraid, she went on the ride and pushed herself. Then afterwards she loved it. That much she wanted to do it again!

So to me she tells me that although it may scare me getting out. She said do it and I bet you will have such a good time and you will want to do it again. I just love her.

I went out and did enjoy myself. I was shaking waiting for a taxi and a bit uncomfortable when we were first seated in the restaurant then I managed to relax and enjoy our wonderful meal at Turknaz which I highly recommend.

I am going to try and reach out to those I have let down and try my best to try and get out, even once a month and see some of the people I have not seen in such a long time.

I started the company a year ago, and it has been an amazing journey so far! and I couldn't be happier with all that we've learned and accomplished. I figured we'd share this with you in this blog post.

Today is the one year anniversary of our company opening its doors for business (Yay!). So what better time is there than now to kick off our blog with a post reflecting on what we have learnt over the past 12 months?

It’s been a year since we opened for business with our small cleaning company and what a year it has been. I've have learnt so much about the cleaning industry, but more importantly we have learnt about ourselves. Who would have thought that starting your own business could be such hard work? It’s true what they say, you can learn as much from failure as success.

It has been an amazing experience so far and we are proud of how far we have come in such a short space of time. We are looking forward to many more years serving customers across North Tyneside with our high quality services!

How has it been?

I've learnt a lot in our first year of business. I really had no idea what I were getting myself into when I started the company, but I've have learnt so much in that time.

I have learnt about the industry and how it operates and how to grow.

We now have over 6 cleaners!

We have a team of 6 cleaners, and over a 100 clients in just a year. Starting from scratch was scary at first, but it was made easier with the support I hard from my friends and family and my original staff members. They never let me give up and kept encouraging me to push myself. We have now built up a team who truly are family and we look out for each other and this is why our standards are so high and we don't just employ anyone. We could be even bigger with more staff who don't care and earn more money, but that's not whats it's about. I know as soon as I see someone they will just fit in, our cleaning family.

I hope that you have enjoyed this blog post.

clean home

It’s a fact: cleaning your home is good for your health and mental wellbeing. With the right approach, you can create an efficient and effective system that will make cleaning your house more enjoyable. In this post, we'll go through some reasons why it's worth investing in a well-organised cleaning routine.

Cleaning is a real workout for your body

Cleaning your home is a great way to get in some exercise. In fact, you can burn up to 300 calories an hour just by cleaning! In addition to helping you lose weight and feel better about yourself, regular cleaning will also improve your health by reducing blood pressure and stress levels.

The Benefits of a Clean House: Health, Clutter and The Mind

You may think that cleaning is a chore. But let's take a look at some of the benefits of cleaning.

Cleaning is an investment in your health

Cleaning can help you sleep better, feel more relaxed and less stressed, feel more in control of your life, and even feel more energetic! When change is needed, it's hard to make that change happen—but when there are benefits like these waiting for you on the other side? You might be more willing to get started on those dirty dishes after all!

A clean house is an organised home

A clean home is a tidy mind. A clean home is a healthy home. A clean home is a safe home. A clean home is a happy home!

Cleanliness and organisation go hand in hand, so if you want your house or apartment to be organised, start by cleaning it first! When was the last time you vacuumed? Or dusted? Or washed your windows? These simple tasks can make all the difference between an unorganised mess and an organised space where things don't get lost behind the sofa cushions or under furniture—or even just hidden away in remote corners of rooms because they're too hard to find otherwise!

If you need motivation to clean, remember all the great benefits it can have!

In addition to the obvious benefits of a clean home, cleaning can do a lot for your health and well-being.

  • Cleaning can help you sleep better. The act of tidying up and organising your space helps clear negative thoughts from your mind and allows you to relax so that you can fall asleep easier.

  • Cleaning is an investment in your health! When dust mites invade our homes, they trigger allergies that lead to colds and illness. Dust also contains mould spores which are toxic when inhaled over long periods of time—and dangerous for anyone with asthma or other respiratory issues. Plus, if you have pets at home (or have kids who play outside), pet dander will build up over time and cause allergic reactions like sneezing attacks or runny noses when pets shed their fur indoors onto surfaces such as couches or bedding—something I know all too well from my own experience with cats (pets). Keeping surfaces free of pet hair will help prevent these kinds of symptoms from developing in the first place!

The benefits of cleaning for your health and mental well-being are endless. Cleaning, as many people know, can be a stressful activity that can take up a lot of time. However, by doing the right things in the right way, cleaning can actually be beneficial to your health and well-being!

clean and tidy kitchen

The kitchen is often the busiest room in the house, which means that it's also the dirtiest. There's no time to waste in this space, so here are some ways to clean your kitchen quickly and efficiently:

tips

  • Make a cleaning schedule

  • Clean your kitchen before you cook

  • Clean as you go

  • Use natural cleaners in place of harsh chemicals

  • Use the right tools for the job

  • Get rid of all food scraps and trash immediately after cooking.

First cleaning of the day.

  • Before you start your day, do a quick clean up of the kitchen. This will not only prevent chaos during meal preparation, but it also sets a positive tone for the rest of the day.

  • Make sure you have everything you need to clean in one place so that when it comes time to begin cleaning, there are no interruptions or distractions.

  • Start at the sink and work your way around countertops and appliances until every surface has been cleaned! Some areas like windows, walls and floors may be higher up on your list on another day but for now just focus on what's within reach (or cleaning).

You start with the table and kitchen counters, then move on to the fridge and dishwasher.

You start with the table and kitchen counters, then move on to the fridge and dishwasher.

One of the most important things you can do when cleaning your kitchen is to keep it organized. Organizing your kitchen will help you know what needs to be cleaned at all times, which will save you time when trying to clean up in a rush or before guests arrive at your home.

Cleaning appliances.

  • Clean the inside of your fridge. Cleaning the interior of your freezer can be a chore, but it’s necessary. Get into the habit of cleaning the inside of your fridge every week or so by wiping down shelves with a damp cloth and using a sponge to remove any spills or stains that may have built up during use. A lemon-infused vinegar solution will help keep odors at bay, so feel free to add that as well!

  • Clean the inside of your dishwasher. Make sure you clean out any stuck on food particles from whatever container was used last time you ran the dishwasher – this will prevent mildew from forming later on when it gets wet again during future cycles! You can also use vinegar in place of bleach for an environmentally friendly cleaner (and if you don't mind me asking - does anyone else's nose run when they smell bleach?).

Cleaning your oven can be a pain, but it's important to keep up with. If you don't clean your oven on a regular basis, it will start to smell like burnt food and could even cause serious health problems if not cleaned regularly.

To begin cleaning your oven:

  • Get rid of any racks or baking trays that are inside the oven and use a damp cloth or sponge to wipe down the bottom of the interior walls. Once that's done, use mild detergent with hot water to clean inside of your oven (be sure to follow package directions for how much detergent is needed).

  • Use a soft bristle brush for stubborn areas. Don't scrub too hard! You don't want to damage any parts of your oven; instead focus on getting rid of caked-on food rather than scrubbing at baked-on spots until they come off completely. The goal is just to loosen them up so they'll wipe away more easily.

Cleaning the sink.

  • Clean the sink first thing in the morning.

  • Use a sponge and dish soap to clean your sink.

  • Make sure you use hot water for this task, as cold water may result in hard-to-remove stains.

  • Rinse well with clean water afterward, then dry with a towel or two if you like everything sparkling clean!

Keep your kitchen organised and clean to make cooking easier.

  • Keep your kitchen organised and clean to make cooking easier.

  • You'll be able to find what you need when you need it, which will make preparing meals quicker and more efficient.

  • This can also make cleaning easier, since everything has a place where it belongs.

Cleaning is easy and fun when you have great tips!

Cleaning is easy and fun when you have great tips!

With the right tools, cleaning can be a breeze.

I hope these kitchen cleaning tips help you keep your home clean and tidy. You'll be amazed by how much easier it is to cook if your kitchen is organised and clean!

mental health

The main goal of World Mental Health Day is to raise awareness about mental health disorders and reduce stigma surrounding them. One way that this is accomplished each year is through an annual theme that focuses on a particular aspect of mental health treatment or intervention. For example, this year's theme focuses on Make mental health and wellbeing for all a global priority.

Did you know that today, 10th October is World Mental Health Day? If you didn't, then hopefully you'll find this blog post useful. Today is a day when we should come together as a society and discuss mental health issues more openly. That's why I've come up with 10 facts you may not know regarding mental health.

Have you ever thought about how your mental health affects the rest of your body? How do depression, anxiety and other mental health problems affect the physical make up of your body? By looking at the link between mental health and physical health, it could help us learn how to improve our overall wellbeing.

Here are 10 things you should know about mental health:

1. Mental illness affects one in four people worldwide.

2. Mental disorders often start at a young age; half of all lifetime cases start by age 14, and three-quarters by age 24.

3. Depression is the leading cause of disability worldwide, affecting 3 percent of the global population. Suicide rates are also high: 800,000 people commit suicide every year — that's one person every 40 seconds. The majority of suicides (90 percent) occur in low- and middle-income countries.

4. Anxiety disorders are highly prevalent among women (18 percent), with PTSD being more common among men (10 percent). In both genders, anxiety disorders often begin during adolescence or early adulthood and can continue through adulthood.

5. It's important to be aware of the signs of mental illness in others and in yourself

6. Most people with mental illness get better over time with treatment and support from family and friends

7. There is no shame in having a mental illness or being treated for one

8. There is a need for better understanding of the causes of mental illness; early identification, prevention and treatment; and rehabilitation services for those living with mental ill-health or recovering from it

9. Mental health problems affect us all

10. Mental health is just as important as physical health; both require attention and investment if we want to see real change in society

mental health awayness

This is a subject that is very close to my heart and I think people shouldn't be scared or ashamed to speak out. I hope you find this blog a little bit interesting and informative on this subject I think is still taboo.

Remember

The key to achieving successful management of your emotional and mental health is to remember that you are not alone. Support can come from many different sources, including family members, friends, healthcare professionals, and religious counselling. If you or someone you know is looking for support in managing their mental and emotional health, contact the World Mental Health Day website (www.wfmhday.org) for more information or resources in your area. Help is waiting.

With the school holidays over and kids back to school and our lives about to get busier than normal. It's time to make sure you are prepared for the busy term.

Here are some tips to help you get ready for the upcoming school year:

1. Get your kids back into a routine - it can be hard sometimes but it is so important for them to get back into their normal schedule.

2. Plan ahead - this is especially important if you have more than one child going back to school, having a plan will save you from stress and chaos later on down the track.

3. Write out what each child needs for the first few days of school, this will help them know exactly what they need in their bags and where everything is located when they arrive at school.

4. Take a look at their uniform so that nothing is missing or has been forgotten from home, it's also good to check that all buttons are buttoned up correctly as well as ties etc...

We are delighted to join one of our clients on their adventure as they start their airbnb business and they have asked CE Domestic Cleaning Services if we would take care of the cleaning side of their amazing properties they have in Tynemouth.

We are very excited about this project, which will see us working with one of our favourite clients, who we have worked for for a number of years.

The client has two properties in Tynemouth. Both are located within walking distance from the beach, making them perfect for a family holiday or romantic getaway. The houses are modern but with an old-fashioned charm that makes them feel like home from home. Each property has two - three bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen with all modern conveniences including dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. They also have central heating so no matter what time of year it is there is always somewhere warm to curl up on those chilly nights!

This is an amazing and exciting times for us and the clients we are working with on their journey.

This is just one of the cleaning services we offer to our clients. This is one of the new services we are providing with hopefully more on the way to expand CE Domestic Cleaning Services to offer everything under one company.

If you've ever considered hiring a professional cleaning service, you might be a little nervous. After all, it's easy to imagine that the person coming into your home will be someone you don't know—and that could be scary.

But here at CE Domestic Cleaning Services, we think that's just silly! We're not just another cleaning company; we're your friends and neighbour's who just happen to have a passion for making your home sparkle. And we're so sure about our work that we offer our clients an ironclad guarantee: if you're not happy with our service or feel like we fell short in any way, we'll make it up to you! We don't want any unhappy customers—we want 100% satisfaction from every single one of our clients.

So how do we do it? By visiting every house personally before starting any cleaning, so that we can learn more about what makes each client unique and tailor our services accordingly. Then, once the work is done and the clients are satisfied, they leave us testimonials on Google+ and Facebook. Here's just one example:

Gill has been doing my cleaning for about 5 years now and the standard of cleaning, thoughtfulness and customer care is unparalleled. Gill and the girls really go the extra mile to make coming home to a clean and tidy house an uplifting experience. My life is significantly better for their service and I can’t recommend highly enough. Worth every penny. Thanks Gill and the team!

Feel free to get in-touch to find out more.

family

Just recently people have been asking what does CE stand for and a few people thought it stood for cleaning excellence. No in-fact it stands for Charlotte and Ellie which are my daughters names as family means everything to me.💕

When I was first starting my cleaning business, I wanted to have a name that meant something special to me. And as a parent, nothing means more than the people you love. So, I named the business after my two daughters.

I'm a big believer in family and community, so I wanted to make sure that my company reflected that. When people see my business name they know immediately that it stands for something personal to me.

I hope this helps you understand about our cleaning services and where the name came from!
